Mission Statement 

Marcey Rehabilitation And Developmenr, (MRD) is a non- profit organisation that is registered in Denmark. Marcey R&D was established in 2009. As there are more Somali immigrants now in the Denmark than the past Marcey R&D is playing an important role in economic and social development of these Somali communitie.

Marcey R&D is also provides emergency relief and development assistance to poor communitie in Somalia. Marcey R&D dedicated to alleviating the poverty and the suffering of the world’s poorest people. Marcey R&D mission is to:

1. Help Galgudud, Gedo and Lower Juba based Somali’s who are in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability,  financial hardship or other disadvantage.
2. Improve the lives of disadvantaged communities in Somalia by providing socil, economic and interpersonal support.
3. Support victims of natural disasters and civil conflicts.
4. Build community capacity by providing the necessary resources.
5. Address social injustice and promote peace coexistence in conflict areas.
